Undergraduate Music Education

Auburn University offers a Bachelor of Music Education (B.M.E.) degree. Students currently select an emphasis in vocal or instrumental music education which leads to N-12 certification in music.

Students interested in pursuing the music education degree should contact one of the music education faculty members to learn more about what is required to be a music education major. For more information, you can send us a message.

The music education degree sequence begins in the first freshmam semester, so transfer students should be sure to understand the AGSC and STARS information which can be found on the AU Transfer Student web site.
