Optional Make-Up Dates for January 2018 Inclement Weather Days

Following the cancellation of Auburn University classes due to inclement weather on January 16-18, 2018, the Provost’s Office has announced the following options for faculty to hold make-up classes:

Courses cancelled on: Wednesday, January 17
Assigned make-up day: Saturday, February 3

Regular service routes will be available from 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
The off-campus night transit hours will operate 6:15-11:00 p.m.
The Employee Express shuttle service is not scheduled to operate.

Courses cancelled on: Thursday, January 18
Assigned make-up day: Saturday, February 10

Regular service routes will be available from 7:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
The off-campus night transit hours will operate 1:15-3 p.m.
The Employee Express shuttle service is not scheduled to operate.

The decision to make up a class day is at the discretion of the faculty member. Faculty who plans to use any of these times to make up a class should consult with their students as soon as possible to avoid scheduling conflicts. Students should check with professors before attending a make-up session. Make-up sessions will be held at the same time of day and in the same location as the originally scheduled class.
