Reserve a Study Space

Study space in Mell and RBD Library must be reserved through the D!BS reservation system.

Study Space Policies

  • Use your Auburn University email - Other email addresses are not allowed in the system to ensure only Auburn University students and faculty reserve study spaces.
  • Verify your email address - The first time you use the D!BS system, you will be asked to verify your email address. By verifying your email address, you will receive follow-up emails and text reminders for your reservations.
  • Show up on time - Please be considerate and show up to your reservation on time. There’s always a possibility that someone has reserved the same room right after you. If you need to cancel a reservation, use the link in the confirmation email to cancel.
  • Do not alter the room - The walls and windows may not be covered or altered by users of the room. Do not move furniture from Mell or the Library into study spaces.
  • Do not leave the room unattended - The Library or Mell is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings.
  • Be mindful of noise - Study spaces are not sound proof so please keep conversations at a moderate level.
  • Clean up the room - Before leaving the room, please throw away all trash and double check that you haven’t left anything behind. Furniture, whiteboard, markers and erasers must stay in the study space or be returned to the circulation desk if they were checked out.
  • Group study spaces are for groups - Please only sign up for group study spaces when you want to work with others. If you want to work on your own, try the quiet study spaces on the 2nd and 4th floor of the Library.
  • Be mindful of reservation limits - You can only have one reservation per day and can only have two active reservations at any given time.
