  1. Make sure to read over the Course Descriptions in order to pick which weeks your child would like to attend.
  2. Fill out the Registration Application with the courses your child would like to take.
  3. Upon confirmation, you will be sent additional forms to fill out to secure your child's spot.

About Science Matters

Does your child like exploring the outdoors? Is he creative or always taking things apart? Does she love solving problems? Do your kids excel at math or science? If you found yourself answering yes to any of these questions or you have a rising first through eighth grade child who shows high interest or aptitude in science, math, or technology-related subjects, you should definitely send your child to Science Matters at Auburn University! They'll have a blast, and you'll feel great about positively contributing to your child's education during summer break!

Science Matters is a summer enrichment program for elementary students in rising grades 1-8 offering youngsters a supercharged science experience. The program allows participants to explore the world of science through real experiments, technology and art projects, and hands-on, make-n-take activities. During this action-packed program, kids can design and build, dabble in the art of chemistry, become a flight specialist, see amazing critters, and more! Science Matters offers six different science-themed weeks for rising 1st-4th graders to choose from and five weeks for rising 5th-6th graders, and 2 weeks for 7th-8th graders to enjoy. Camps are 8am-4pm. Prices range from $195 - $235 per week/child. Multiple week discounts are available. Courses fill on a first-come-first-serve basis, so be sure to register today!
