Keynote address at Bioinformatics Bootcamp is open to the public

On Thursday, May 14, the Department of Biological Sciences will host Paul Stothard, associate professor in the Department of Agricultural, Food and Nutritional Science at the University of Alberta, who will be the keynote speaker at the 2nd annual Bioinformatics Bootcamp. The keynote address will take place at 3 p.m. in the Sciences Center Auditorium and is open to the public. Stothard’s talk is titled, “Using sequencing and bioinformatics to link genotype and phenotype,” and faculty and students interested in genomics and bioinformatics are encouraged to attend.
