Tigers for Tigers to host Tiger Awareness Week

Time: Nov 12, 2015 (All Day)
Location: Five Guys Burgers and Fries

Details:

The Auburn University chapter of Tigers for Tigers will sponsor Tiger Awareness Week Nov. 9 – 13. Tigers for Tigers is a student group dedicated to saving tigers in the wild through a conservation program called the National Tigers for Tigers Coalition. The coalition joins together academic institutions with tiger mascots to help spread awareness of the survival challenges tigers face, including habitat destruction, poaching and the pet trade. Students and the Auburn community can support the effort on Thursday, Nov. 12, by eating at Five Guys Burgers and Fries on N. College St. anytime after 5:30 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Auburn chapter of Tigers for Tigers. Auburn’s Tigers for Tigers is organized by the Society for Conservation Biology, a student group hosted by the College of Sciences and Mathematics. For more information, join Auburn University Tigers for Tigers on Facebook and Instagram @auburnT4T, or go to the national Tigers for Tigers Coalition website at http://www.t4tcoalition.org/.
