Title: Turing Instability

Abstract: Alan Turing proposed diffusion driven instability as an explanation for morphogenesis, the formation of biological patterns during growth. Turing instability occurs in other fields, e.g.  chemistry, ecology, medicine, and physics. I will  present an introduction based on an activator-inhibitor narrative.
