Details: Speaker: Dr. Philippe Gaillard Title: The role of statistical analysis in applied research Abstract: Statistical analysis is part of research studies in many disciplines. Its contribution is limited but central. We review some of the limitations and some of the contributions of statistical analysis, and we explore a few examples of one of its main contributions: addressing confounding in observational research. |
