Title: Desingularization of Function Fields

Abstract: I will begin with an example or two, showing how to write a domain in local form and split it into several domains by partitioning the underlying set of local coordinates.

I will probably start with two affine domains defined by

\( b=x_0^2+x_1^3+x_1x_2+x_2^5\)

and

\( b:=x_0+x_1^2+x_2^3+x_0^2x_1x_2\),

respectively.
