Rodger named Newington Medalist

Chris Rodger, Don Logan Endowed Chair of Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, was named a Newington Medalist by Newington College’s Old Newingtonians’ Union.

Rodger attended Newington College from 1968 to 1973, receiving many awards during his time as a student. The Newington Medal is the highest award that the college can bestow on an “Old Boy,” and recognizes service and contribution that has made a significant difference to the welfare and future of the college and to Australia’s quality of life or to humanity in other countries.
