Mansoorabadi laboratory publishes article in Science
The Mansoorabadi laboratory in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Auburn University published a Report in the 21 Oct 2016 issue of Science entitled “The biosynthetic pathway of coenzyme F430 in methanogenic and methanotrophic archaea”.
The new findings of this research have application in natural gas-to-liquid fuel conversion strategies and to help reduce natural greenhouse gas emissions. This study confirms the importance of archaea in global biochemical cycling.
