COSAM Faculty Representing the U.S. on Conference Committee

Professors Allen Landers and Guillaume Laurent of the Department of Physics in the College of Sciences and Mathematics attended the International Conference on Photonic Electronic and Atomic Collisions in Deauville, France.

“This meeting attracts scientists from around the world who study the fundamental dynamics of the interactions between ionizing radiation and matter,” explained Dr. Allen Landers.

Not only did he participate in this year’s conference, Dr. Landers was elected to the conference general committee and will serve a term of four years as one of the representatives from the United States (U.S.).
