The Graduate Student Council is a graduate student organization that strives to fulfill the unique needs of graduate students while offering a network of support and encouragement. It exists to provide a collective voice for its members, acting as the official graduate student representation in university affairs and the Student Government Association (SGA).
We encourage participation from all graduate students in all departments. Please feel free to attend any GSC meeting and become active in our organization. We will also be sponsoring social events during the year that we hope you will attend, as well as the annual Graduate Student Research Forum and Symposium that is open to all graduate students at Auburn University.
The GSC Executive Board is comprised of six officers: President, Administrative Vice-President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer & SGA Representative
The GSC Senate is comprised of two Senators from each academic department.
The GSC Committees are developed as needed by the GSC Executive Board. These committees include topics such as Ways & Means, Publicity, and Communications. Senators volunteer to serve on these Committees, and typically give reports at GSC Meetings.
