Annual Pumpkin Carve

The Auburn University Chapter of The American Institute of Architecture
Students is hosting its annual Pumpkin Carve.  Pumpkin Carve began as a
studio project twenty-three years ago and has now turned into one of the
most celebrated events within the School of Architecture, Planning and
Landscape Architecture here at Auburn University.  The event is one of
the largest fundraisers for the year, enabling the organization to
provide other activities for the architecture students and the
community.  On the day of the event, the American Institute of
Architecture Students invites all students within the University, as
well as community members of all ages to gather in the courtyard of
Dudley Hall to carve pumpkins.  Judges, invited from the local community
and the college, select the best pumpkins and award prizes donated from
local businesses.  Pumpkin Carve is a much anticipated and enjoyed event
by both the students and the community.

This year Pumpkin Carve will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011.
We invite the community to bring cans of food for the Beat Bama Food
Drive as this year’s Pumpkin Carve also will feature AU Canstruction.
