The Graduate Student Council is actively involved in organizing many programs for the benefit of the Auburn graduate student community.
The Colloquia were created by Graduate School and are run by the Graduate School Dean. The GSC assists in the planning of these. Colloquia are led by different speakers from various departments on-campus.
Usually held in the spring semester of every year, the GSC holds a host of events for graduate students including a student awards picnic and breakfast for students. For more on each year's Appreciation Week, visit the Events page.
Since 1992, the Auburn University Graduate School has hosted its annual Graduate Student Research Forum and Symposium. The Forum gives students a chance to showcase their hard-work and passion in their fields of study. The categories of research range from the humanities, design and sciences. Top presentations and posters are then honored by a chance to compete in the Research Symposium, showcasing the very best of graduate research at Auburn University.
For more information on each year's Research Forum and Symposium, visit the Research Forum/Symposium page.
