Homecoming 2023

On Friday, September 15, we invite you to view a specially curated Homecoming collection from the Ralph Brown Draughon library. The library archives team will showcase unique items from Auburn University's history from 2:00pm-5:00pm at the Auburn University Hotel & Conference Center. While there, be sure to view the one-of-a-kind waterfall table created with an original piece of Toomer's Oak.

Join us Friday, September 15 for the Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally will be full of energy and the Auburn Spirit as we get ready for the game day on Saturday! Watch and cheer along the floats and performers as they make their way around Downtown Auburn in celebrating Auburn's rich traditions. The parade will feature floats from on and off-campus organizations, the Auburn University Cheerleaders, the Tiger Paws and the Auburn University Marching Band. The parade begins at 6 p.m. on September 15, completing a short loop around downtown Auburn before concluding with a pep rally around 6:30 p.m. on Samford Lawn (in front of Samford Hall). Registration

Fall Family Weekend check-in will occur on Friday, September 15, and Saturday, September 16. Please note that the location of check-in changes per day.

Check-in is from 2-5 p.m. CST on Friday at the Campus Recreation Sportsplex, located at 811 Lem Morrison Drive, Auburn, AL 36849. Note: Saturday’s check-in will be at the tailgate location on Cater Lawn.

At Check-In, families will pick up their clear bags and tailgate wristbands. Pre-ordered t-shirts will also be available for pickup.

Note: Students CAN pick up any of these items for their family.

Friday, September 15, 4:00 PM Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the gate; there is no charge for children age three and under. This is a cash free event. Only checks or cards can be accepted. The hour-long program is presented at the center’s the 350-seat Edgar B. Carter Educational Amphitheater, located at 1350 Pratt-Carden Drive off Shug Jordan Parkway. Gates open one hour prior to the start of the presentation. During the show, hawks, falcons, eagles and other birds of prey are free-flown from towers and around the amphitheater, enabling visitors to see these raptors flying close. Visitors will also learn interesting facts about natural history, conservation, and rehabilitation. This educational presentation is appropriate for all ages.

Join us for food & drinks, and to celebrate the Auburn Spirit prior to the Auburn vs. Samford game.

Join the Honors College for our Fall Family Tailgate on September 16th from 3- 5 pm on the Upper Quad. This free event will have lawn games, food, and giveaways perfect for Honors College students and their families and guests to celebrate gameday!

Let’s cheer on the Tigers together and celebrate Homecoming and Fall Family Weekend! Guests and family members of Honors students are welcomed to attend but must be included in registration.

The annual Ag Roundup, hosted by the Auburn Agricultural Alumni Club and the College of Agriculture at Auburn University, will return to campus on Saturday, Sept. 16, offering a special opportunity for agriculture alumni and friends to gather for a day of hospitality.

The purpose of Ag Roundup, held at Ag Heritage Park on the Auburn campus, is to support the college by raising visibility, maintaining connections, supporting student scholarships, and encouraging the Auburn Spirit.

Food samples from multiple Alabama agricultural organizations and businesses will be available. Student organizations will also offer games and activities for all ages.

The event is open to anyone who would like to attend. Admission is $5 per person. Tickets are available online for advance purchase or at the gate.

The Auburn University Parent & Family Association Fall Family Weekend Tailgate will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, at Cater Lawn.

Tickets are available for purchase here. Tickets are $5 for AU students, $30 for all other guests. Tickets cover the tailgate meal, non-alcoholic beverages, and a clear bag that can be taken into the stadium.

Check-in for the event, where wristbands will be provided, will be immediately outside the event at Cater Lawn.

First-year Honors College students and their families are invited to the Honors College Induction Ceremony Sunday, September 17 at 1 pm at Neville Arena. This ceremony is the formal induction into the Honors College, where students will receive their Honors College pin. Much like the medal bestowed at graduation, this pin signifies membership within the Honors College.

During the ceremony attendees will hear from administrators, faculty, past and current students who will share their Honors College experiences and observations.
