Our Mission
The mission of the IT Service Desk is to provide Auburn University faculty, staff, and students with an effective primary point of contact for Auburn University's recommended software and computing resources. The IT Service Desk will resolve the issue or distribute the call to the appropriate staff, technology group, or appropriate resource in order to best meet the needs of the client.
About Us
Our skilled student consultants are your initial support contact and provide immediate response to many questions and problems about computing, telecommunications and information technology at Auburn University. The IT Service Desk also serves as a clearinghouse for system and software problems.
Questions and problems requiring more expertise in specialized areas are referred through the IT Service Desk to full-time, subject-matter experts. Our staff continuously keeps the IT Service Desk informed concerning changes, upgrades, problems, and improvements to technology resources.
The IT Service Desk contacts are traced in order to identify needs and improve service, so please be prepared to provide your AU username when calling. It is easiest to reach us by phone in the early morning hours.
