Bilingual Supplier Quality Engineer
Location:  Opelika, AL

SUMMARY

The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for developing and managing the Supplier Quality process. This position is the focal point of quality interface between company and all Suppliers, including material and sub-contract manufacturing suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•Carry out company Supplier Quality process
•Suppliers qualification
•Materials and products qualification
•Participate in new product launch process to ID supplier’s potential issues and resolution.
•Suppliers assessment and audits
•Hands-on support at supplier’s factory in during pilot and qualification builds.
•Manage supplier’s product quality
•Supplier Corrective Action Request
•Support Suppliers in developing world-class quality systems and tools
•Support company Supply Chain Management organization.

REQUIREMENTS
 
•BS in Engineering or related field
•Minimum 3 years of experience in a Supplier Quality role in an automotive manufacturing environment
•Bi-lingual in Korean
•Strong leadership and team skills
•Multilingual a plus

Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.
