Tools for a Teen in a Relationship
Pre-survey relationship booster exercise
It should come as no surprise that many of our teenagers don’t have the skills to handle personal relationships effectively— a lack that can lead to aggression, verbal and even physical abuse, and risky sexual behavior.
With a grant from the Department of Health and Human Services, Auburn researcher Jennifer Kerpelman created an innovative series of online learning modules that help teens gain successful coping skills. Her curriculum’s been tested in high schools for over five years and is proven to improve students’ abilities to resolve conflict.
