Transfer Scholarships

Transfer Scholarships

Incoming transfer students are considered for scholarships awarded by the Office of University Scholarships, the Office of Inclusion and Diversity, and each of Auburn University's 12 colleges and schools. These scholarships can be found in the Auburn University Scholarship Opportunity Manager (AUSOM) by browsing "All" scholarships and filtering for "Transfer." Students must complete the scholarship application through AUSOM by 4:45 p.m. CST on the deadline to receive consideration for all scholarships for which they meet the criteria.

  • Incoming freshmen must have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA. Incoming transfer students must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative transfer GPA.
  • Priority consideration will be given to students who qualify for the Federal Pell Grant by February 1 through completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)*. Consideration may also be given to students who have demonstrated a strong likelihood to qualify for the Federal Pell Grant through a combination of other factors.
  • Students must be an undergraduate student pursuing a first degree.

*The FAFSA is the only form a student is required to complete to be considered for student assistance from any of the Title IV, HEA programs except for information needed to ensure the student’s eligibility for such assistance (e.g., information needed to complete verification or to demonstrate compliance with the student eligibility provisions of the HEA and the regulations). Additional information, if requested, will be listed on the student’s AU Access My Finances page after we receive the results of the FAFSA. For additional information, visit the Office of Financial Aid.
