The Auburn Student Government Association and the East Alabama Food Bank are extremely pleased to announce that Auburn collected 212,199 pounds of food!! However, the West Alabama Food Bank and the University of Alabama collected 270,915 pounds of food. This is the first time that the total donations for Auburn have exceeded the 200,000 pound mark, although it fell short of the 250,000 pound goal. We would like to thank all donors, members of the community, and university students, faculty, and staff for their donations.  More details regarding the exact totals and organization totals will be released the week of Dec. 1st.

Congratulations to the following ladies that were selected for Top 5 Miss Auburn campaigns that will take place February 8th -12th, 2009; Mary Frances Colley, Anna Houk, Liya Huluka, Stephanie Rector, and Codi Runge.

Auburn University’s Student Government Association and University Program Council are proud to sponsor the annual Holiday Celebration. The Holiday Celebration takes place on Samford lawn following the Auburn Chamber of Commerce's Christmas Parade. The Holiday Celebration features carols by the Auburn University Concert Choir, the lighting of a Christmas tree and unity candles, and a children’s moment. All members of the university and community are invited to join in this year's celebration, which will take place on December 4th, 2008 at 6:30 p.m.
