Homecoming 2012

Aside from being a time for the alumni, Homecoming is a great time for the students. Spirits are high with events, including the Omicron Delta Kappa Cake Race, the big game on Saturday, painted signs and windows, election of Miss Homecoming, and band parties. 2010 marked the revival of a old Auburn Homecoming Tradition, the SGA Homecoming Parade. The Homecoming Parade featured the ODK Float Competition as well as the AU Marching Band, Cheerleaders, Miss Homecoming Candidates, and other university and community organizations.

Tiger Walk

(Corner of Samford Ave./Donahue Dr.)

An Auburn tradition which began in the early 1960s when Auburn players would walk from Sewell Hall to the football stadium and fans would line Donahue Drive to wish them well. Over the years the Tiger Walk has grown into a major part of game day at Auburn, so much so that it is listed on the players' game weekend itinerary. Every Tiger Walk prior to home games draws thousands and over the last couple of years the Tiger Walk has become a standard as Auburn football players enter stadiums on the road. Come be a part of this tradition and encourage our guys as they enter the stadium.
