The Auburn University Journal of Undergraduate Scholarship (AUJUS) is no longer accepting applications for student editor, copy editor, and marketing positions. (Updated 4/23/13)
AUJUS is a peer-reviewed journal that showcases the top research and scholarly accomplishments of Auburn University undergraduate students. We seek original research from students in any academic discipline.
The responsibilities of the student editors are primarily locating qualified reviewers to evaluate each undergraduate submission which is received, and serving as an intermediary between the student authors and the production team. The copy editors are responsible for streamlining the articles such that they are consistent for the entire journal, as well as modifying language for consistency and clarity. Students operating in a marketing position will be given the duty of searching for potential sponsors for AUJUS, as well as disseminating awareness of AUJUS on the Auburn University campus. For full descriptions of each available position, please view the PDF links below.
Serving in editing or marketing for AUJUS provides students with a unique perspective of the peer-review and journal production process. With your help, AUJUS can continue to positively impact the academic climate of Auburn’s growing undergraduate student body.
