I got some great news though. First I got a new goody.

Also I got a job!

I’ll be working at the Opelika test track on instrumentation and other technical things on Mondays.  I’m excited.

What a fun week that was and what a fun week this is and what a fun week the next will be. Thank God I get a weekend after tomorrow… I’ll be using it wisely since I didn’t sleep tonight. 5:00 AM ftw?

3 midterms next week!!! What the fudge, man. Cut me some slack, Auburn. I know it’s fun to wear me out but let’s not hit me with 3 tests at the same time, and you guys won’t have to grade tests. It’s a win-win.

In other news my grandfather cut me a check for some tires since I’m poor. He’s so sweet.

So yeah. No news on the website progress, I still can’t decide on a new URL. Class in 4 hours, I guess I’ll finish my diff EQ project over the next 2 and then screw around. Later folks.

This week’s gonna blow chunks. Thermodynamics test Thursday. Machines quiz Wednesday. Stuff I don’t understand in Electronics. On the plus side, no Diff EQ on Thursday, woo-hoo!

I want to move this page! Hopefully I’ll be able to do that this weekend after redoing a few of my links so I can move around hassle-free if need be. I might add more content later too, but I’m probably going to hold off until I get this thing moved. Might end up doing a little more customizing too.  Emoticons would be nice…

Holy crap… is it working?
I’ve been making some changes and so far they look ok. Barring everything working right so far, I’ve got about 2 more things to do and I’m officially DONE with this theme overhaul and I can work on moving servers and adding actual content. Stay tuned.

Hi everyone.

Fun week at school.  Thursday was especially fun… running on little sleep and also the added gem of my Electronics class, which formerly was simple enough and actually made sense.  I was blessed that day with going over theory and deriving an equation for 40 minutes which I don’t think we even finished. ……..lol.

Anyway, I spent some fun money today.  I picked up Sci-Fi Crimes which is Chevelle’s newest album.

Fantastic album.  I really love the sorta-new direction they are taking.  It’s not as drastic of a change of Vena Sera from the previous albums, however I like to think of it as a more polished and better-executed Vena Sera.

The songs have been put on youtube for anyone looking to check it out.  I recommend Shameful Metaphors, Mexican Sun, Letter from a Thief, and This Circus.

There’s my shameless promotion of the day.  But really, check it out if you are a fan of rock, I really enjoyed it.

I’m making a little headway on the site and it’s exciting.

Jo was sweet enough to take a look at some stuff on my site and figured out it’s pretty much blanked in the blank.

So yeah.  Good news everyone!  I’m uprooting everything and moving it to a server where I won’t have a ~tilde~ in my URL!

Now I know what you’re thinking… Dan, how can you be expected to have such a fabulous website without your tilde?  Well let me be the first to tell you, it’s going to be so fabulous you’ll want to *censored*.

So.  The whole point of this blog is… this page is still under serious construction so don’t worry if things are out of place, or broken, or funny looking.  I’m on it.  Second, I’m moving to a new server soon courtesy of Jo where I’ll also get my own domain name.  Coolest ever, thanks again Jo you’re wonderful.

But this week I have lots of stuff to do in school.  Will probably have a rant when I return.

This new theme for wordpress is nice. But I’m not sure it’s me. My original goal for this project was to have a completely uniform website with a blog built in, not two separate sections. I still have to decide which route I’m going to take and how I’m going to get there. (I need advice!)

So I think the question is whether or not I want to build my own wordpress theme that would integrate with the rest of the site so there is no obvious transition between 2 different places. I’ve been playing around with Paint a little (cause I’m cool like that) and have come up with something like this…

I would make it shinier and prettier but that’s a general idea. I’m just ready to get moving on this thing and I hate being at a standstill, don’t know where to go from here. More later.

Well here it is. And it’s all jacked up because I can’t do anything right.

Put stuff in a separate directory and now I got stuff all over the place trying to fix it. Oh well. Nothing really works like it should so I’ll probably get around to uninstalling and reinstalling this beeyatch eventually. In the meantime, this page will remain under construction.
