  • Exam #2 has been emailed back to you.
  • Today's video (Leveraged Buyouts - Part 1) has been posted. Start there - I talk a little about how the class goes from here at the beginning.

  • Thursday, March 12th
  • As the University has just announced, there will be no on-campus class meeting before April 10. Classes will be moved online. This announcement is to inform you what to expect from my class (I am only speaking for my class). Online students - I do not believe anything will impact you, but please read the message below just in case.
  • Classes are not cancelled and spring break is not extended. We will cover material online just as we would have in class. On Tuesday morning, I will post a video in Canvas under Panopto Recordings covering what I would have in class. I expect it will run about the same length of time as a normal class period. At the beginning of that video, I will discuss more the changes (and lack of changes) for this course moving forward. For example, we have a case due the following week.
  • I don't have it all figured out, but I know the course content will be put online via video just as we saw earlier in the semester with additional class videos. Watching Tuesday morning's class video (and watching it on Tuesday) will be the first step. I will use Canvas for announcements and I expect they will be much more frequent as we work through this craziness together. Also, please be aware of the University's Coronavirus web site which is updated daily: https://ocm.auburn.edu/news/coronavirus/
  • Stay healthy and let me know if you have any questions about my course. War Eagle! Keven

  • You need to watch the two videos (Finishing Comparable Companies Analysis and Precedent Transactions Analysis) outside of class to get caught up.

Exam Information

The exam dates and times are listed above. In-class students are expected to take the exams on those dates and at those times. Distance students are expected to take the exams as indicated once the exams are distributed to your proctors. Should you encounter difficulty that precludes taking the exam by the deadline, you must contact me prior to that deadline and discuss possible arrangements.

If you miss an exam due to illness, you should contact me AS SOON AS you know you will miss the exam and are able to do so. Documentation will need to be provided and must state that you are unable to attend work/school on the day of the exam. Whether you contact me or not, the make-up will be the next business day at 7:30 AM. If you are still ill and HAVE DOCUMENTATION stating that you are unable to attend work/school on the day of the make-up, the next make-up will be the following business day at 7:30 AM. You must have a medical excuse for the date of the exam and the date of every make-up you miss. The make-up exam may not be the same format as that given during the regular exam time.

All exams are closed-book. They are to be completed individually. This means no talking, sharing calculators or pens/pencils, etc., and no wandering eyes. You have been warned: do not cheat! The Academic Honesty Code is found in the Student Policy eHandbook.
