Auburn Nursing debuts health education book series

The Auburn University College of Nursing is launching a new children's book series designed to help young readers and their families better understand health-related topics through engaging, age-appropriate stories written by Auburn Nursing faculty. The Growing Tiger Book Series follows Toby the Tiger as he navigates health experiences such as asthma, neonatal intensive care stays, mental wellness and intellectual disabilities. Developed by nursing faculty in collaboration with Auburn University's Child Life Program, the series aims to improve health literacy while supporting children and families across Alabama and beyond.

Poultry Science Specialists Win National Awards

Two Alabama Extension specialists were recently recognized by the Poultry Science Association for their achievements in the field. Alabama Extension Specialists and Auburn University Associate Professors Dianna Bourassa and Wilmer Pacheco received some of the association's highest honors.
