Research/Interests
My lab has been involved in the long-term study of Sciurid acoustics and associated behaviors. Although most studies have focused on the behaviors of urban populations of eastern gray squirrels,Sciurus carolinensis, students have completed projects involving a wide variety of other vertebrates. Current interests include Sciurid time/energy budgets, predator/prey interactions, interspecific alarm calls, and mating behaviors.
