Research Interests
- Research on factors influencing attitudinal development and the relationship to counselor practice, social/emotional well-being, health disparities and counselor training
- Research on the cultural, educational and counseling implications related to working with students and individuals living with poverty. This includes establishing advocacy and educational interventions.
- Currently working on a research team of collaborating students, faculty from AU, other institutions on counselor training and supervision interventions as it relates to vicarious trauma, PTSD and sub-threshold PTSD.
