Leslie Ann Cordie
Short BioLeslie Cordie, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in Adult Education at Auburn University. She earned her doctorate in Adult Education and Technical Communication from Colorado State University which includes an emphasis on Distance Learning, adult learning theory, online information, and instructional design and curriculum development.
She has over 25 years of combined experiences in higher education, government and military, and corporate America. Her background includes distance learning, adult education, training, instructional design, program and professional development, and healthcare.
She also has an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and has experience working with the airlines and the military in quality and performance improvement. She began her career as a community health nurse.
Dr. Cordie was recently awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to research and teach in the West Indies. For more information, visit her website.
