Kim Key is a Professor of Accountancy in the Harbert College of Business. She has been an Auburn University faculty member for 15 years.
Her primary teaching and research interests are related to income and state and local taxes. She was awarded AU Professional Improvement Leave and spent the 2011-2012 academic year as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Ulsan in South Korea.
She taught intermediate accounting courses from an International Financial Reporting Standards perspective and since that time has undertaken co-authored research with an Ulsan colleague. Their work investigates the effects of Korea’s adoption of international accounting standards.
Dr. Key led an MBA student trip to Korea in March, 2013. She is eager to return to Korea to advance both her teaching and research experiences.
