Commencement is only a few weeks away! The following email contains important information about spring commencement. Please read the entire email.
  • Tickets can be downloaded beginning Monday, April 21.
  • Each ticket can only be scanned once and is specific to your registered ceremony.
  • A standby line is available for guests without tickets. Entry via the standby line is subject to availability and opens approximately 15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time.
  • Guests can also view the ceremony livestream in the Village Dining Hall.
  • Ticketing FAQs are available on the commencement website. 
  • Auburn University's commencement tickets have no cash value. The selling or bartering of commencement tickets is strictly prohibited and is considered a Student Conduct offense. Students found engaging in such activities may have their tickets voided.
  • Due to multiple campus events during commencement weekend, please allow ample time for parking.
  • A parking map is available on the commencement website.
  • The Neville Arena Parking Lot is reserved for ADA parking only (official placards must be visible for entry).
  • Graduates MUST arrive at least one hour prior to their ceremony.
  • Upon arrival, graduates must scan their tickets at the Student Entrance, located next to the main Neville Arena entrance.
  • Upon entry, all graduates are given an official Auburn commemorative cord and can pick up your name card used to display and announce your name. (All graduates must show your Auburn ID to pick up your name card).
  • Graduates can take photos on the Arena floor before the start of the ceremony.
  • Each ceremony features the commencement speaker, the conferral of degrees, the recognition of students with academic honors and the student procession.
  • All ceremonies are expected to last between 1.5 to 2 hours.
  • Following the ceremony graduates will exit Neville Arena to meet up with their guests at the Meet-Up Tent, located in the Neville Arena Parking Lot.
  • Graduates may only bring your phone, keys and ID. No bags are permitted, apart from medical bags.
  • All graduates and guests must pass through metal detectors.
  • Review the full prohibited items list and the clear bag policy. Be sure to share this information with your family and friends attending commencement.
  • Official photos are taken during each ceremony by GradImages and include crossing the stage, receiving your copy of the Auburn Creed and exiting the stage.
  • Graduates who register with GradImages before the ceremonies receive a 20% discount on all orders. 
  • Photos are available within two weeks after graduation.
  • All photo opportunities are for graduates only.
  • AUBIE PHOTOS: All spring graduates have the option to take regalia photos with Aubie on Wednesday, May 7 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. and Thursday, May 8 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. in 202 Foy Hall (same location as cap and gown pick-up).
  • Regalia pick up is in 202 and 203 Foy Hall, May 5 through May 12.
  • Any regalia orders placed now will incur an additional $25 late fee and may be subject to limited size availability.
  • Previous student emails can be viewed on the commencement website under the “Spring Messages” tab or are linked below. 
  • Family members and guests can register on the commencement website to receive these graduation updates via email.
