Sam’s Club Purchases

Auburn University has established a new process to enable departments to purchase items from Sam’s Club. Departments will NO LONGER be required to pick up Sam’s Club Membership Cards from the Procurement and Business Services Building.

Financial Liaisons setting up or renewing their department’s Sam’s Club Membership must bring the following items to the Sam’s Club Membership Service Desk in-store.

  1. AU Employee ID

  2. AU tax exemption form. (Tonya Hollis can send you the form if you do not have one on file.)

Memberships should be set up as tax-exempt, include your @auburn.edu e-mail address, and be established through the Sam’s Club Membership Service Desk. All Sam’s Club purchases should be paid for with the AU Purchasing Card. Personal purchases are not allowable on the membership card.

What membership can I purchase?

You should only purchase a “club” membership. Approval for a “Plus” membership must be approved by PBS.
