Minutes of the Steering Committee Meeting

In Attendance:  Kathryn Flynn, Claire Crutchley, Dennis DeVries, Bob Locy, Larry Crowley,  Mary Ellen Mazey, Russ Muntifering, Jim Wright, Bill Hames, Emmett Winn,

Absent:  David Shannon

--The meeting was called to order at 3:30 PM

--We did not have a copy of the minutes from our previous meeting (1 February 2010), so we will approve both sets of minutes at our next meeting. 

--We discussed Friday’s tragedy at UAH, as well as implications for Auburn University, higher education, etc. 

--We then discussed items for the agenda for the March Senate meeting. 

--The meeting was adjourned at 5:10 PM.
