Minutes of the Steering Committee Meeting
7 December 2009

In Attendance:  Kathryn Flynn, Dennis DeVries, Claire Crutchley, Emmett Winn, Larry Crowley, Jim Wright, Bill Hames, Bob Locy

Absent:  Mary Ellen Mazey, Russ Muntifering, David Shannon

--The meeting was called to order at 3:30 PM

--The minutes from both the 2 November 2009 and 23 November 2009 Steering Committee meetings were approved without change. 

--Kathryn provided a summary of the update that John Mason presented at the 23 November meeting.  She will provide copies of the handouts to the committee later. 

--The Steering Committee will continue meeting every other Monday at 3:30 into the new year, until the officer change occurs in March. 

--The slate of nominees for Senate Chair and Secretary are nearly complete and should be ready before the holiday break. 

--The Committee then turned its discussion to the developing agenda for the 12 January 2010 Senate meeting.  We will likely have several action items, and we discussed what other information items we might include in the meeting. 

--The meeting was adjourned at 4:15 PM.
