Minutes of the Steering Committee Meeting

In Attendance:  Claire Crutchley, Mary Ellen Mazey, Ann Beth Presley, Jim Wright, Larry Crowley, Kathryn Flynn
Absent:  Bill Hames, David Shannon

--The meeting was called to order at 3:30 p.m.

--The minutes of the 28 June 2010 Steering Committee meeting were approved without change. 

--We were informed that representatives of SGA leadership will return to Steering Committee in early Fall 2010 semester for further discussion of possible proposed changes to the Academic Honesty Code.

--We then turned our attention and discussion to the Senate Committees for the 2010-2011 year.  Claire Crutchley distributed synopses of Senate Committee reports, and we resumed our discussion from the 28 June meeting on individual committees.

--Steering Committee will meet twice in August, on the 2nd and 16th, to continue discussions of Senate Committees and formulate the agenda for the August 24 meeting of the University Senate.

--The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
