Minutes of the Steering Committee Meeting

In Attendance:  Claire Crutchley, Kathryn Flynn, Robin Jaffe, Russ Muntifering, Ann Beth Presley, Emmett Winn, Andy Wohrley, Jim Wright

--The meeting was called to order at 3:30 p.m.

--The minutes of the 17 November 2010 Steering Committee meeting were approved without change. 

--The January 2011 meeting of University Senate has been changed from January 11 to January 18.

--We heard from Patricia Duffy, Assistant Provost for Undergraduate Studies, on action items that will be presented to the University Senate at its January meeting by Academic Standards Committee.

--We finalized the agenda for the January 2011 meeting of University Senate, which will tentatively include three action items from Academic Standards Committee, and information items from Core Curriculum/General Education Committee and Program for Students with Disabilities.

--We began discussion of possible agenda items for the February 8 meeting of University Senate.

--The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
