The Beginning College Survey of Student Engagement (BCSSE) asks new freshmen about their academic and co-curricular experiences in high school and their expectations for the first year of college. Each year the survey is administered among first-time freshmen during Camp War Eagle.
The First Destination survey is conducted among graduating seniors and asks about employment and continuing education plans. The survey is administered toward the end of students' final term but before graduation.
The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) asks students about how much time and effort they devote to studying or participating in co-curricular activities, how fully challenged and supported they feel by their college, and how students estimate their educational and personal growth since starting college. The survey is conducted each year among Auburn University first-year students and seniors.
This is a survey conducted among Bachelor’s degree recipients of Auburn University. The survey asks former students about their employment and further education, estimated gains in knowledge and skills, perceived usefulness of different resources for finding jobs, and overall satisfaction with undergraduate experience. Each year, the survey is sent to alumni, who graduated three years earlier. For example, baccalaureate recipients from 2013-2014 academic year received the initial survey invitation in fall of 2016.
