Student Insurance Committee -
Executive Vice President
The committee shall supervise the management practices of the
Student Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan, in an effort to serve the best
interests of the student body, and make recommendations to the administration
concerning the Plan.
The committee will 1) routinely monitor implementation of the Student Accident
and Insurance Plan and make recommendations to the Administration concerning the
Plan, 2) assist in the development or requests for proposals as appropriate and
to solicit, review, recommend and select a broker/agent to the Administration,
3) make recommendations to the Administration for all changes/modifications
including benefits and premiums in the Student Accident and Sickness Insurance
Plan, 4) receive and review quarterly and year-end reports submitted by the
broker/agent responsible for the Student Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan
and 5) assess on a regular basis student-customer satisfaction with the Student
Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan and make recommendations to the
Administration concerning the Plan. (16 members)
