Three-Day Workshop on Discrete and Intuitive Geometry

3/3/16 10:25 AM

Discrete and intuitive geometry cover a wide range of problems of various areas including convexity, the theory of packing, covering and tiling, computational geometry, rigidity theory, and the geometry of numbers and crystallography. Discrete geometry investigates combinatorial and analytic properties of configurations of geometric objects. Intuitive geometry investigates geometry problems that have an intuitive appeal; however, the solutions of these problems are usually very intricate and require tools from many areas.
