Dr. Philip Chaney from the Department of Geosciences spoke with a reporter from National Public Radio on Monday. He shared insight about the importance of tornado preparation.
Dr. Sharon Hammes-Schiffer from Yale University is the recipient of the 2019 G.M. Kosolapoff Award medal and presented this year’s lecture. Read about the event and hear from a member of the Kosolapoff family as to why it is important to bring “respected chemists to speak in Auburn” at this series.
