"Harry brought great energy and passion to everything he did because he was never afraid to fail,” explained Dean Nicholas J. Giordano of the College of Sciences and Mathematics. Read more about this influential alumnus who supported more than 200 teaching and senior fellows through the Knowles Teaching Initiative and held more than 400 U.S. patents.
“When I have the opportunity to explore new habitats and see new plants, it still excites me as much as when I just started. There is no doubt that the most exciting moments are making new discoveries of entities in nature that are new to science and requiring naming and describing,” Keener said. “The 650 students on the Dean’s list embody the excellence throughout our college,” explained Dean Giordano. “Their initiative to continually excel inspires current and future students to reach higher to achieve their goals.” Congratulations to all of the COSAM students that made the Dean's List.
“It documents a lot of unique birds from Alabama,” Dr. Hill said. “It’s a great resource for the students to learn about the birds they see regularly.” Learn more about the bird collection at Auburn's Museum of Natural History.
