Auburn-developed Microscope Technology Finds Use on COVID-19 Battlefront

"CytoViva Inc., a subsidiary company of the Auburn Research Park-based firm Aetos Technologies Inc.—and the registered name for the patented microscope technology developed by Professor Vitaly Vodyanoy of Auburn’s College of Veterinary Medicine—has partnered with Joanna Sztuba-Solinska, an assistant professor of biological sciences in the College of Sciences and Mathematics, to aid in her research efforts."

Auburn Senior to Use COSAM Degree to Study Infectious Diseases

“My teachers have encouraged me in both my educational and personal goals and I think that’s a really special type of support,” Nordberg said, adding that her time as a COSAM student has taught her how to work hard to achieve her goals. “Many of the COSAM classes I have taken have been difficult and required a lot of effort, but persevering through these hard classes has made me a better student and learner than I would be without them.”

'Leave It To Us' Helps the Auburn-Opelika Community

“Students or anyone from our community can volunteer and give back,” Patrick added. “I believe in the human touch, and during this COVID-19 period there is nothing better than to help those who need basic necessities and cannot risk getting them. “Work on your networking skills,” Josh Poole ’15 explained at this year’s SUCCEED Conference. “In today’s workforce, relationships you start building now can be important later in furthering your career… Learn how to present yourself as the most marketable package, even if you have experience that might not seem directly related to a position.”
