	...	Computational chemist sets sights on new methods with $433,561 NSF award Konrad Patkowski, the S. D. and Karen H. Worley Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, is the recipient of a $433,561 award from the National Science Foundation (NSF) program that specifically funds research for new methods and algorithms in computational chemistry.
	...	COSAM celebrates 2020 Lilly-Lovelace Distinguished Service Award recipients “This year, we had a large number of high-quality nominations,” said Dean Nicholas J. Giordano. “It was extremely gratifying to read the nomination letters as faculty, staff and students submitted recommendations for an array of outstanding staff.”

Hunter Terry scores a record with VEX World Championship “The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the impact that our work can have on students,” Terry shared. “Having been a student who was once impacted by the efforts of COSAM Outreach, it can even be overwhelming to think about the number of students who I get to help enjoy the same life-changing experiences with every program we run. With competitions in particular, I get to meet and interact with some of the brightest students across all age-levels. I get to hear and see stories of students finding their passion together with their friends and share it because of the competitions that I help run.”
