SCORE Summer Camp Registration

Tomorrow, SCORE Summer Camp registration will open at 6 p.m. CST.  

SCORE Summer Camps explore the world of STEM through multiple platforms, 3D printers, Raspberry Pi's and more. During this action-packed program, kids can design and build robots, create their own 3D model and develop life-long skills.

Online registration begins on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 6 p.m.

Science Matters Summer Academy Registration

Science Matters is a summer enrichment program for elementary students for rising first through sixth grade students offering a supercharged science experience.

Online registration begins on Thursday, Feb. 16. CST.

Registration Times:

• Rising 1st/2nd registration opens at 6:15 p.m.
• Rising 3rd/4th registration opens at 6:30 p.m.
• Rising 5th/6th registration opens at 6:45 p.m.

Don’t miss this year’s annual Phi Lambda Upsilon Lectureship featuring Jackie von Salm, co-founder and chief scientific officer of Psilera, a biotechnology company.

The lecture, How Nature’s Chemistry Continues to Inspire 21^st Century Medicine, explores the topic of psychoactive natural products and how they can become more accessible to treat diverse patients with less risk. 

Auburn led collaboration study complex plasma aboard the International Space Station remotely supervised from Auburn campus

In a broader collaboration of three US institutions, Auburn University (Uwe Konopka, Evdokiya Kostadinova, Edward Thomas, Jr), Wittenberg University (Jeremiah Williams) and Baylor University (Truell Hyde, Lorin Matthews), our groups study the fundamental mechanisms that govern the behavior of classical multi particle systems on a “quasi atomic” level that are responsible for self organization as well as complex dynamics.

STEM Outreach Center hosting first Science Pub of the semester

COSAM's STEM Outreach Center is kicking off the semester with a fun Science Pub at John Emerald Distilling Co. in Opelika. Science Pub is a fun, casual evening for the whole family to join in a discussion with a local scientist.
