COSAM’s HR team is ready to assist you! In this newsletter you will find important resources for annual leave carryover, a reminder that benefit selections for the coming year are due soon, and the new Parental Leave policy. The University is also preparing for the first steps in returning to normal campus operations on November 30. That will be the subject of a special message from the Dean later this week.

Annual Leave Carryover
Auburn University limits the amount of annual leave that can be carried forward from one calendar year to the next. The carryover limits for this calendar year will be modified as per the chart below.

Open Enrollment
What is open enrollment? Now is the time each year at which you may enroll, cancel, or make changes to your benefit elections that will go into effective January 1.
- Flexible Spending Account? Click here for 1/1/2021 renewal information.
- Need help? Seek time and date for phone call with Benefits Enroller.
- Virtual Benefits Fair happens on November 17th and 18th.
- Deadline is 4:45 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30, 2020.

Paid Parental Leave
This is a new policy for eligible employees that went into effect October 15, 2020 for bonding with or activities related to a newborn or adopted child. Click here for more details.
