Black Belt Community Foundation (BBCF)

Taking what we have to make what we need - Black Belt Community Foundation - Tree icon with green hearts for leavesThe Black Belt Community Foundation (BBCF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supporting community efforts that contribute to the strength, innovation and success of the region, since 2004. BBCF serves twelve Alabama counties including Bullock,Choctaw, Dallas, Greene, Hale, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Perry, Pickens, Sumter, and Wilcox. BBCF's vision is of a transformed Black Belt where all people live and work in healthy, prosperous, inclusive, educated, creative, and giving communities.

BBCF provides four trained adult mentors for students in both Bullock and Macon counties to provide consistent communications, speaking sessions, and support. Two adult mentors in Bullock County and two adult mentors in Macon County visit the career tech centers in each school district monthly to provide mentoring and speaking sessions to students throughout the school year.
