Home Football Games

The parking lots listed below carry certain restrictions for the day before and the day of home football games during the Fall semester. Vehicles must be removed the day before (Friday) each home football game. Please note, the below list is not all-inclusive of every lot impacted by Saturday's home football games. Where can I park my vehicle if it has to be moved?

Alternate parking for those who are displaced by game day parking is available, at the following locations:

  • Displaced PC1 permit holders may park in the C or PC4 lots

  • Additional C, RX, and PC1 parking is located at the RO/C parking lot(s) off West Thach. Opens at noon the Thursday before each home football game and closes at noon Sunday after each home football game.

  • All vehicles parked in the Hayfield will move to the RO lots located across campus

My vehicle was towed or wheel-locked on game day or during a game day weekend. Help!

  • Gameday (Saturday)

    The Parking Services Office is open at 10:00 am the day of a home football game until two hours after the official ending of the game.

  • Sunday

    The Parking Services Office is open from 12 p.m. (noon) – 2 p.m.

  • Additional Fees:

    Please be aware that if a vehicle is not retrieved from the impound lot after seven (7) calendar days, an additional $5/day charge will be added to the cost for releasing the vehicle.

Information about towed vehicles for game day can be obtained by either coming by the Parking Services Office or calling (334) 844-4143 during the days and times listed above. If you need information regarding a towed vehicle before our office is open call (334) 740-2077.

Please be aware that if a vehicle is not retrieved from the impound lot after seven calendar days, an additional $5/day charge will be added to the cost for releasing the vehicle.

Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, and Gymnastics

The Arena Lot will be closed at various times for all Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, and Gymnastics home events. A schedule of the weekday events can be found by visiting the Athletics gameday website.

During these closures, all eligible parking permission holders for the Arena Lot will be allowed to park in the PC4 Lot. PC2 permit holders parked in the Arena Lot before 2:30 p.m. will not need to move their vehicle however, PC2 permit holders accessing campus after 2:30 p.m. will need to park in PC4.

The Arena lot will also close for these events on Saturday, Sunday, and other times that the University is not officially open.
