How to Register Online

Log into your AU Access with your Auburn University username (abc0000) and password

Select the “My Campus” tab

Select the “Parking” icon

Select "Order Account Permit" located in the navy blue header
To completely register your vehicle, you will need to provide the following information:

Year model
-
Vehicle make
-
Identify if it is a 2-door or 4-door vehicle

Vehicle color
-
License plate number

All preferred parking (RW, RD, RH) will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be assigned a specific date and window of time to purchase your parking permission. Please pay close attention to the dates below so that you can be well informed of your registration time. Once the predetermined maximum occupancy rates are reached for a specific lot, that lot will no longer be available for purchase. All resident students will have the opportunity to select the RO (resident overflow) lot if you desire on-campus parking. Preferred residential permits (RW, RD, RH) are $220/annually, and residential overflow (RO) is $140/annually. Registration for RO will open on July 23, 2025.

- Hill (RH): Tuesday, July 22 from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- Village (RW): Tuesday, July 22 from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.
- South Donahue (RD): Wednesday, July 23 at 8 a.m.
- Quad (RO): Wednesday, July 23 from 12 p.m.
- Quad residents will only be eligible for RO parking permits.
- 160 Ross (RO): Wednesday, July 23 at 12 p.m.
- 160 Ross residents will only be eligible for RO parking permits.
- 191 College (RO): Wednesday, July 23 at 12 p.m.
- 191 College residents will only be eligible for RO parking permits.
- The Union (RO): Wednesday, July 23 at 12 p.m.
- The Union residents will only be eligible for RO parking permits.
- Residential Overflow (RO): Wednesday, July 23 at 12 p.m.
Wednesday, July 23 at noon, any residents who did not receive a parking permit will be able to purchase an RO permit for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Once registration has concluded and parking assignments are issued, there will be no refunds.
All preferred parking (PC 1 Coliseum lot, PC 2 Arena lot, PC 4 West Village lot, PC 5 CDV lot) will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be assigned a specific date and window of time to purchase these parking permissions based on your credit hours at Auburn University. Freshmen will not be eligible for the preferred parking. Please pay close attention to the dates below so that you can be well informed of your registration time. Once the predetermined maximum occupancy rates are reached for a specific lot, that lot will no longer be available for purchase. All commuter students will have the opportunity to register for the regular commuter parking (C-zone) if you desire on-campus parking. Registration for C zone will open on July 30, 2025. Preferred parking permits are $220/annually, and overflow (C) is $140/annually.

- Graduate Students: Monday, July 28 from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m.
- Seniors: Monday, July 28 from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
- Juniors: Tuesday, July 29 from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m.
- Sophomores: Tuesday, July 29 from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
- Freshmen: Wednesday, July 30 from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m.
- Overflow (C): Wednesday, July 30 at 12 p.m.
Once registration has concluded and parking assignments are issued, there will be no refunds.
Personal Bicycles
Bicycles must be registered by the second week of class for each of the semesters (fall, spring and summer). After that time, any bicycle that is not registered or not properly chained to a bicycle rack will be removed and placed in the impound lot at the owner's expense. You may register your bicycle online, from August 2nd of each calendar year through June 30th of the following calendar year, within your AU Access account. To obtain a bicycle permit during July of each calendar year, you must come to the Parking Services Office to register the bicycle. You must pick up the bicycle permit at the Parking Services Office unless you are Faculty/Staff and order the permit before September 4th.
Electric Scooters
All electric scooters must be registered within your AU Access account. Once registering your electric scooter, all students should review the campus policy.
Electric Vehicles Charging Station Locations
The electric vehicle charging stations will require the owner to purchase a valid AU permit prior to utilization. Registered vehicles have free access to the charging stations up to four hours before relocating to their assigned zone.
