Annual Parking Vehicle Registration
- Log into your AU Access with your Auburn University username (abc0000) and password
- Select the “My Campus” tab in the top header
- Select the “Parking” icon which will appear as
To completely register your vehicle, you will need to provide the following information:
- Year model
- Vehicle make
- Identify if it is a 2-door or 4-door vehicle
- Vehicle color
- License plate number
Bicycles must be registered by the second week of class for each of the semesters (fall, spring and summer). After that time, any bicycle that is not registered or not properly chained to a bicycle rack will be removed and placed in the impound lot at the owner's expense. You may register your bicycle online, from August 1st of each calendar year through June 30th of the following calendar year, within your AU Access account. To obtain a bicycle permit during July of each calendar year, you must come to the Parking Services Office to register the bicycle. You must pick up the bicycle permit at the Parking Services Office unless you are Faculty/Staff and order the permit before September 2nd.
All preferred parking (RX, RW, RD, RT, RH) will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be assigned a specific date and window of time to purchase your parking permission. Please pay close attention to the dates below so that you can be well informed of your registration time. Once the predetermined maximum occupancy rates are reached for a specific lot, that lot will no longer be available for purchase. All resident students will have the opportunity to select the RO (resident overflow) lot if you desire on campus parking however, RO is also first-come, first-served. Registration for RO will open on July 15th.
South Donahue (RD): Monday, July 15th at 7:30 a.m.
Cambridge (RT): Monday, July 22nd from 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Quad (RX): Monday, July 22nd from 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Hill (RH): Tuesday, July 23rd from 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Village (RW): Tuesday, July 23rd from 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
For those students who will be moving in early, you will be allowed to park in any zone EXCEPT the A-zones and B-zones until August 18th. We do ask that on August 9th and August 15th those students parking near the residence halls to please move their vehicles from the residence areas to accommodate those moving in on those specified dates. Beginning August 19th everyone will be expected to park in their assigned zone.
All preferred parking (PC 1 Coliseum lot, PC 2 Arena lot, PC 3 Magnolia/Donahue lot, PC 4 West Village lot) will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be assigned a specific date and window of time to purchase these parking permissions based on your credit hours at Auburn University. Freshmen will not be eligible for the preferred parking. Please pay close attention to the dates below so that you can be well informed of your registration time. Once the predetermined maximum occupancy rates are reached for a specific lot, that lot will no longer be available for purchase. All commuter students will have the opportunity to register for the regular commuter parking (C-zone) if you desire on campus parking, C zone is also first-come, first served. Registration for C zone will open on July 15th.
Graduate Students: Thursday, August 15th from 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Seniors: Thursday, August 15th from 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Juniors: Friday, August 16th from 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Sophomores: Friday, August 16th from 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Once registration has concluded and parking assignments are issued, there will be no refunds.
Faculty and Staff
Registration will open July 15, 2019.
- A-zone parking permissions will be $80/year and $40/semester.
- B-zone parking permissions will be $40/year and $20/semester.
Beginning August 20th, all levels of the Library deck will be zoned for A-zone parking permissions. All spaces in the Comer lot will be zoned for B-zone parking permissions. The South College Street parking deck will be designated as A-Zone parking for levels two and three, and the ramps leading up to them. We have added 90 A-zone spaces in the Lowder lot, 50 B-zone spaces in the Magnolia/Donahue lot ,175 B-zone spaces on the fourth level of the Stadium deck as well as 20 A-zone spaces in the Brown Crest lot.
