Dr. Kevin Miller was born in Gainesville, Florida, raised in Jackson, AL, and graduated from Auburn University with a BS in Biology and Psychology.  While at Auburn, Dr. Miller was a scholarship athlete on the Auburn track team, participated in The Hughston Clinic’s Sports Medicine Mentoring Program under the direction of Dr. Champ Baker Jr., and received his certification in Athletic Training. Dr. Miller earned his Pedorthics certification from Oklahoma State where he began his research on foot, gait, and running mechanics. Later, at Life University, Dr. Miller won the Research Colloquium Scholarship for his work on Biotensegrity, foot mechanics and running disorders. He also earned a doctorate in Chiropractic and Master of Science in Injury Management, focusing on theories of Biotensegrity. Prior to moving back to Auburn, Dr. Miller co-founded and served as Chief Science Officer for Tensegrity Technologies, a medical device company, and has been awarded multiple patents for his work. He will continue his research as cooperating staff in the department of Kinesiology, Auburn University. Dr. Miller resides in Auburn with his wife, Jennifer, and their son, Conor.

Dr. Tyler Butler

Dr. Butler is from Addison, Alabama. He is a 2016 graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Before transferring to Auburn to finish his degree he played baseball for Hiwassee College in Madisonville, TN. Dr. Butler earned his Chiropractic degree(cum laude) from Life University in Marietta, Georgia and is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, spending time at the lake, and college football

Shelley Lawson, Certified Athletic Trainer

Shelley Bowman, MSAT, LAT, ATC, CPT
Certified Athletic Trainer

Shelley was born and raised in Sarasota, FL. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Activity and Health from Auburn University and received her Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. While in undergrad she worked as a rehab technician at RehabWorks, a local rehab clinic, and she taught horseback riding lessons at a local barn. While in graduate school she worked as rehab coordinator where she was responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation programs of all athletes. In her free time she enjoys riding her horse, Roger, spending time with her husband and their many rescue animals. Shelley has been a part of our staff since 2015.

Certifications: Board Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), State licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT), National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer (NASM CPT).

Meghan Stelmash

Meghan Stelmash, MS, LAT, ATC 
Certified Athletic Trainer

Meghan is originally from Hudson, NH. Meghan received her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of New England and received her post-professional Master’s degree in Athletic Training from Texas State University. Meghan has previously worked in the University Athletics setting with D1 and D3 athletes, and has most recently worked with the United States Army at Fort Benning. Meghan is a Certified Athletic Trainer by the BOC and a Licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Alabama. In her free time, Meghan enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling and trying new restaurants.
